I’m planning on a great year, and I hope you are as well. Of course, how well it ends is largely based on how it begins. With that in mind, I am happy to offer you with the following opportunities for a great new beginning of 2007:
Most likely everyone is coming back from long vacations, it’s a new year, and everyone is feeling invigorated. Book publishers are actively looking for new projects, and literary agents are ready to roll, making this an excellent time to submit your query letters.

The One-Day Sale
To encourage you to take advantage of this uniquely productive and wonderful time, I will be provide my Selective Guide to Literary Agents Database to those on my mailing list for $65.00 (regular price $78.00) for one day only, Monday, January 22, 2007. Along with the Literary Agent Guide (LAG) at the $65 price, I will also include two additional listings, The Top 95 Literary Agents for Debut Fiction from 2006 and The Top 30 Literary Agents for Non-Fiction in 2006. Because it would take considerable time to add them to LAG, the two new lists will not be available on my database until the 2008 version is released in September of 2007. However, I am making them available to you now through a separate listing. I spent the better part of the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas using my contacts to research these additional two lists. Each one of the agents listed on these two new lists really broke it big in one way or another during 2006 by either selling a book in their area of expertise for either seven figures or the high six figures. Needless to say, if you land one of these reps as your agent, you’re well on the way to realizing your best selling dreams, which begin, of course, with having the right contacts and email addresses.
Since I do not want these valuable listings to be overwhelmed with too many query letters, I will be limiting this offer to the first 60 persons who contact us by either getting a check to us at PO Box 4306, Sedona, AZ 86336, or calling us at 928-203-0265 to reserve the listings. When doing so, please make sure to leave us with your email address as well, for we will need to use it to provide you will the passwords.

A few times a year, Tom flies in a publicist to join him in preparing his students to become the book promoting dynamos they need to be. Joanne McCall is president of McCall Public Relations, which specializes in generating national and major market publicity for authors. Joanne’s 18 years of experience as a radio host, newscaster, and interviewer, has provided her with an excellent insight into what makes for a compelling guest, and how to train them. Since Joanne’s schedule is often full, Tom usually takes advantage of the time she is available by combining two retreats into one time slot, which is the case with this forthcoming event. The first segment of the retreat will focus on presenting a full overview of everything you need to know about book publicity. The second half of this essential retreat focuses on media training. This is a retreat not to be missed.
