It's Query Letter Season

If you have been putting off submitting your query letter, wait no longer. Now is the time. From everything I am seeing from my individual students, agents are really open to new ideas, as they usually are this time of year. From all I have seen, requests to review material is up about 300% over what I expect it to be from the month of May forward.

So if you've got a query letter that is complete, send it out. If you don't have one written yet, I would suggest getting one together and sent out as soon as possible.

If you would like me to review your query before submitting it, I am more than happy to do so. Just click on the following link (Query Letter Review Service) to read more about how to go about doing so.

If you would be interested in using my Selective Guide to Literary Agents database to send out your query letters, click here to purchase the database, or if you would like more information about the database service, please click here.

Either way though, do something. The time is write (oops - I think I meant "right", or did I?)

Not Only Work With Me But New York's Top Editor Too

Paul D. McCarthy, considered by most to be the top editor in the publishing industry, has been so impressed with the caliber of the students and their work that I have recommended to him, that he has agreed to work with whatever aspiring writers that I send his way. In response to Paul's openess, we have created a second version of my Individual Intensive Writing Course (IIWC), which is specifically designed to ready new writers for working with Paul, who, by the way, is responsible for the successes of nine #1 New York Times Best Selling Authors, including such household names as Stephen Coonts, Clive Cussler and Nelson DeMille. To learn more about this latest version of IIWC, feel free to click here.
