Good Things are Happening

March/April Newsletter, 2008

Despite all that appears to be crumbling around us, there still must be something very good happening, at least from my perspective

Never before during my twenty-five years of working with aspiring writers, have I had so many students break through and so quickly. More than at any other time before, I am seeing more positive replies to query letters coming in, more manuscripts being completed quicker and more contracts with top literary agents being landed. More and more books are getting published faster and faster as well, with print on demand publishing playing a big role.

Thank God for whatever changes are transpiring in this regard.

Me?  I am completing a long awaited novel; my next book is due for release this fall; my computer programmer is in from California and we’re putting together the re-release of my Author’s Den Interactive Program, which I initially came out with in the mid-90’s, and it will be a real screamer – attractive, efficient, enlightening – everything the new author needs all in one need little package and only a click away.

If you would like to sign up to be a beta version tester of the program, let me know as soon as possible, since we will only be taking on a few. The beta version should be completed and ready to go by mid-May, with the final version ready for release in June.

I will keep you posted.

I don’t know if you have checked it out lately or not, but we made some eye opening enhancements to my Selective Guide to Literary Agents and Editors database, with a video introduction to it due out soon on my website.

Personally, I am doing great as well, and I hope you are too.

Until next month…Tom
